Program will run from 9am to 4:35pm Monday- Thursday and 9am to 5pm Friday.

Investment: $600 + hst per young performer

Aimed at young performers (ages 12-16) with a passion for singing, dancing, and acting, The Mirvish/Travelling Stage Theatre ONE WEEK MUSICAL THEATRE INTENSIVE offers young performers an opportunity to immerse themselves in quality training in an inclusive and supportive environment. Programming will be held at the Mirvish facilities in the heart of the Toronto arts district.

This program includes workshops taught by COME FROM AWAY cast members*.

A final showcase will be presented on the last day of the program for family and friends.

No audition is necessary but we do ask that participants meet at least TWO of five prerequisites for this program:

  1. ​ ​experience performing in a school play/musical (or a community play/musical
  2. ​ experience in a school or community choir
  3.  acting classes
  4.  dance training
  5.  private vocal lessons
Investment: $600+hst per young performer
​Price includes ​a​ ticket to see the August 21st matinee performance of COME FROM AWAY.
*Due to the nature of the entertainment industry, cast members may be called away on other projects. On the rare occasion that this occurs, another Mirvish performer will step in.
