Summer Musical Theatre Intensive:

Aimed at young artists (ages 12-16) with a passion for singing, dancing, and acting, The Travelling Stage/Mirvish Musical Theatre Intensive offers young performers an opportunity to immerse themselves in quality training in an inclusive and supportive environment. Program will be held at Mirvish theatres and facilities.
No audition is necessary but we do ask that participants meet at least TWO of five prerequisites for this program.
  • experience performing in a school play/musical (or a community play/ musical)
  • experience in a school or community choir
  • acting classes
  • dance training
  • private vocal lessons

Included in the program:

  • Quality daily training in dance, acting and voice with Professional Guest Artists in an inclusive and supportive environment.
  • A private coaching session
  • 5 Special Guest Workshops
  • An opportunity to perform in the Mirvish Rehearsal Studio with a live pianist for parents and friends.
  • A tour of a Mirvish Theatre
  • A matinee ticket to the Mirvish Production of “WICKED”
  • A camp t-shirt

Aimed at young performers (ages 12-16) with a passion for singing, dancing, and acting, The Mirvish/Travelling Stage Theatre ONE DAY INTENSIVE offers young performers an opportunity to immerse themselves in quality training in an inclusive and supportive environment. Program will be held at the Royal Alexandra Theatre.

No audition is necessary but we do ask that participants meet at least TWO of five prerequisites for this program:

  1. ​ ​experience performing in a school play/musical (or a community play/musical
  2. ​ experience in a school or community choir
  3.  acting classes
  4.  dance training
  5.  private vocal lessons
>PROGRAM INCLUDES​ (see table below)
  • ​Morning master classes in dance, acting and voice with established industry professionals​
  • A private historical tour of the Royal Alexandra Theatre
  • A ticket to see the August 22 matinee of COME FROM AWAY at the Royal Alexandra Theatre

  • A private Q&A with a cast member from COME FROM AWAY after the show “Due to the nature of the entertainment industry, cast members are occasionally not available after performances.  Should this occur, another Mirvish theatre professional will step in to facilitate the Q&A”
